Emily Richards, RN

Integrative health coach and clinical support

Emily attended Endicott College in Beverly, MA where she received  a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She has worked in a variety of settings over the past 18 years like acute care, outpatient surgery, and home hospice care.  As a professional and as a patient herself she recognized how broken our healthcare system is. Through her professional experiences and her own health journey she realized her passion was more in preventative care, nutrition, and disease management from a full body and lifestyle approach.
She knew patients deserved more than what they have been receiving and wanted them to feel empowered and informed. In an effort to be part of the change Emily recently completed a certificate program for Health Coaching from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. As a health coach she hopes to help support, educate, and empower patients to participate in their own care and improve their overall health and wellness.
Emily grew up in Maine and currently lives in Portland with her husband Grit and two kids, Finn and Nora. In her free time she enjoys spending time in nature camping, hiking, swimming, or skiing.
